The state's electronic file system, which replaces paper files with files created, moved and signed on computer. Departments have joined one at a time; the agriculture department moved in February 2022, Saharsa collectorate went fully paperless in September 2022, and the government directed all offices to switch from 1 February 2025.

The order to run all government offices on e-Office from 1 February 2025 is evidenced only by the instruction and by staff training; no source reports how many offices actually switched.
