5 open questions
- Two sources conflict with the portal's 5 June 2016 commencement date, and we have not resolved them: TOI says the Act has been 'operational since Jan 2016', and an agency report attributes the 19.38 lakh cumulative figure to the Act 'since January 22, 2016'. The start date of that count is therefore disputed.
- The Act number, assent date and gazette date above come from the gazette text as reproduced by a third party; we did not obtain an India Code or Bihar Gazette copy directly.
- The exact date within 2020 of the amending Act 11 of 2020.
- Year-by-year grievance counts. Only two dated points exist, 2017 and 2026.
- Share of grievances resolved in favour of the complainant.
