  • Current intake per programme
  • Homepage figures ('98.5% placement', '17+ startups') are self-reported and unaudited
  • The B.Tech branch list comes from a 2020-21 placement brochure plus the AI-DS curriculum document; the current full list is not verified
  • The first admitting session of the B.Tech in AI and Data Science. Reporting in November 2021 describes the courses as announced for an early-2021 session while a January 2023 report calls the programme 'recently launched', and the curriculum document on academics.iitp.ac.in carries no session or senate date.
  • The start date of the CET four-year BS in AI and Cyber Security. Its course-structure document is also undated.
  • Sources conflict on when IC IITP began: reporting in November 2018 says it started under the institute's incubation society in 2016, while a July 2016 report describes it as inaugurated the previous year. Both are recorded.
  • A founding date for FIST IIT Patna (DST NIDHI-TBI).
  • The 2016 NIRF Engineering list published no rank column, so its entry is a position in a score-ordered list of 100 rather than a published rank, and is excluded from the series below. Note also that the nirfindia.org URL for 2016 serves 2017 data.
