The second high-level meeting of the Bihar AI Mission, chaired by the chief secretary on 11 February 2026, recommended an AI Centre of Excellence on the IIT Patna campus at Bihta at an estimated cost of about Rs 60 crore. On 30 June 2026 Tiger Analytics committed Rs 12 crore towards the proposed centre.
